The two Viennese artists and textile designers, Leo and Gretl Wollner lived and worked in the 20th century. They left a great variety of artworks.

Today the collection Wollner has a unique position in the art world as it combines applied art and visual art in a special way.  Leo and Gretl Wollner are internationally known for their textile design but have left also an oeuvre of visual art which completes their artistic work: paintings with water colours, pastels, drawings, collages, handwoven carpets, curtains and tissues.

Their industrial design collections for international producers such as Knoll International, JAB Anstoetz, Arzberg and PAUSA AG have been very successful. They received several awards.
